✦ BMI & Measurements
Anthropometric measurements, automatically calculated BMI and progress tracking.
"Numbers that tell a trajectory."
◈ The Concept
The BMI tab centralizes the patient's objective body measurements. Each entry is timestamped and preserved — to visualize progress over the duration of the support.
◈ The Measurements
| Measurement | Unit | Associated calculation |
|---|---|---|
Weight | kg | BMI base |
Height | cm | BMI base |
Waist circumference | cm | Metabolic indicator |
Hip circumference | cm | Waist-to-hip ratio |
Body fat (if available) | % | Body composition |
◈ BMI Calculation
BMI is calculated automatically from weight and height:
BMI = Weight (kg) / Height² (m)
| Value | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| < 18.5 | Underweight |
| 18.5 – 24.9 | Normal weight |
| 25 – 29.9 | Overweight |
| ≥ 30 | Obesity |
BMI is one indicator among many — to be cross-referenced with body composition, context and history. It does not replace clinical evaluation.
◈ History & Progress
Each measurement is stored with its date. The module displays progress in chronological list form — to make progress visible and reinforce patient motivation.
The BMI & Measurements widget is available in the Sessions Space (Functional Health template). It allows you to take a weight and measurement directly during the consultation, without leaving the interface.
Measuring is not judging. It is giving a starting point.
